KOB is a nickname some people gave me for my first blog.

My real name: Patrick Thibodeau

Longtime newspaper reporter, editorial writer, now tech journalist. I live in DC.

The goal of DC Blogs is to help draw attention to bloggers who tell us something about the place and times we live in. Who share with us stories and perspectives you won't read in local newspapers, and who by their emotional honesty and intellectual generosity help us all. For the opportunity to read the work of these thoughtful and often entertaining writers, I am most grateful and humbled.
