DC's Population Detour

Weird: The Examiner reports:

The District is expected to lose more than 138,000 residents by 2030, according to new Census Bureau projections released Thursday…

District’s population was put at 572,000 in 2000.

This federal projection runs counter to Mayor Williams'
goal of increasing DC’s population by 100,000 over the next decade.
