Kids, platforms and pizza

An amazing series of ultrasound photos. Amalah writes:

I am sorry, but clearly, this is the cutest baby in the history of ever. The nose! The toes! The "Oy vey, all this poking is giving me a headache" pose!
Kids and Republicans
Not-For-Profit-Dad

A father of twins shares his day-to-day concerns.

With twins your attention is almost always divided -- even if you're playing with one particular child you've got to keep at least one eye on the other kid to make sure they're not attracted to something potentially dangerous and destructive like an electrical outlet of [or] the platform of the Republican Party.

Birthday resolutions: Silliness is no longer acceptable
Sex In DCity

It’s her birthday and at the age of 25 this writer says it’s time to make some changes.

My silliness is no longer acceptable. The drunkeness is no longer funny. The senseless sexcapades are not only senseless but not sexy anymore. It's a new day, a new year of life for me, and I've got a new attitude.

A pizza travesty
Sprite writes

Sprite, evidently ex-Connecticut as is this writer, reports that the world famous New Haven pizza place, Pepe’s, is going franchise.

I don’t want to come off like a pizza snob ( But I am), but in truth the pizza in DC is wretched. Every pie is flawed in some fundamental way. People that I’ve known from New England, NYC and Chicago and living in DC, see this city as as their pizza purgatory.

As Sprite writes:

As someone who lives in a pizza vacuum, I would hate to see Pepe’s lose its identity to the sorsort of pizza that most people find acceptable. And I have my doubts that franchising the “expertise, recipes and family name” of Pepe’s would recreate the authentic New Haven experience.
